Counting the days

Hi everyone,
This is just a quick update. As you know we've arranged to have a 1/2 day city tour on the Saturday and a 1/2 day tunnel tour on the Sunday. Our Pedaltours trip begins on Monday, Nov. 8 at 2:00 pm at the hotel.
Sharon is counting the sleeps, Robin is definitely not going to cycle in HCMC and Paul is getting excited. By the way, Paul's recommendation of the book The Girl in the Picture is a good one; the story gives great insight into Vietnam's history on a personal level.
If you want to add to this blog now let me know....I'll send you the password. When we get to Vietnam I would like everyone to be involved.

Hi everyone,
I understand from Pedaltours that we may not be able to cycle in HCMC after all. I'm sure Robin and Dan are as disappointed as I am that we may not be able to tackle the traffic in this city; we are so experienced after Chengdu last year!

Welcome to our blog.
We are looking forward to doing some cycling in Ho Chi Minh City starting in early November. Our first official day will be Monday, Nov. 8 when we meet with our Pedaltours guides, make sure our bikes are ready and go out for dinner.
We will try to keep you up to date on the weather, cycling conditions, and happenings on a daily basis, at least in South Vietnam. In the north it might be more difficult to find wireless connections.
All for now,
Yvonne
